True American To be a true American, some mess think that a person has to agree with everything our government submits, right or wrong. My belief is that, to be a true American one must get through to make this country a better place. A place that can be respected and looked up to by the rest of the world, rather than shunned and feared as it is today. To say that I am only interested in one specific social issue would be a lie. There are so many problems in this country that cant be ignored, some so complicated, I doubt they will ever be solved in my time on thi s earth. Ive heard over and over that, Every journey begins with the first step, and the fact that on that point are people out there like me trying to deal with problems other people create out of hatred, greed, or sheer stupidity, makes the world a better place.
